تون ئي دَردَ جي دَوا

toon ei darda ji dawa

only You are the remedy for pain

جانِبَ منهنجي جِيءَ ۾ آزَرَ جا اَنوا

janiba muhinje jeea men aazara ja anwa

Dearest! in my being are thousands of afflictions

صاحبَ ڏي شِفا ميان مريضنِ کي

sahiba ḍhe shifa meeyaan mareezane khe

O Lord, pray heal the sick and afflicted

اللہ “عَبۡدُاللَّطِيفُ” چئي

allaaha abdul llateefo chae

O God! “Abd ul-Latif” says

ڀٽ جو گھوٽُ لَّطِيفُ چئي

bhiṭ jo ghoṭo llateefo chae

Latif, the darling bridegroom of Bhit Shah, says

تُون ئي آهين تُون

toon ei aaheen toon

there is none but You

ساڄَنُ سهي سُڃاتو

saajano sahi suneaato

the Beloved I perceived

جي لَّطِيف

ji lateef

O good Latif

او لَّطِيف

o lateef

O Latif

ڇَلَّ سنڌڙي وسئي لَّطِيف

challa sindhaṛi wasae llateef

may the land of Sindh remain prosperous, Latif

ڀلو میان اللہ

Here is a new band SKETCHES and they are out with their debut track now, called DOOBTI AANKHEIN. The line up of the band is as

SAIF : Vocals , lyrics and melodies
Doing MBA , currently working for a news paper.

NAEEN : lead guitarist , lyrics, melodies
Student of fine arts (sculpture)

THE DETAILS OF THE BAND IN THEIR WORDS....

We used to study in same faculty and usually meet and discussing music and all. having spent lots of times together we decided to firm a band because similarity we have same taste of music.
Our music genre is rock alternative-rock and kinda serious rock and we chose to name the band “SKETCHES” Because whatever we plan first we make its sketch in our mind and name suits to our music too.
The band was firmed in 2004 and we worked on the melodies and lyrics seriously to develop a progressive sense in our music we always tried to focus inner feelings of human and what are we. The social issues and various issues of the system.
We gave four years to Sketches to create the music that sounds and feels different because our vision is to potray a sense of music that carries the issue/ matters and the things that are seen but not been touched or not been focused
We want to bring changes in the world with help of our music and thats what SKETCHES means to us.
“We believe that the making of the world was also begun with a single sketch so sketches itself is an idea too and the structure of every single thing in the world based on sketch”

“We believe to be the change that you want to see in the world”.
