Guns N' Roses India Tour Details

The legendary rock band Guns N' Roses is finally going to perform in India this December. Guns N' Roses will be performing at Banglore on 7th December, Mumbai on 9th December and at Gurgaon on 12th December.

Few of the highlighted things of the Guns N' Roses India tour are -

- Guns N' Roses is giving an unprecedented 3 hour concert .

- Axl is making an exception for India to start the gigs earlier than his usual start time of 10 pm. This is so that the band can play a full 3 hour set and not be curtailed due to concert curfew times.

- There are three types of tickets : Silver, Gold and Platinum which you can buy from the KyaZoonga.

- The platinum VIP lounge is specially built up at each concert to the same height of the stage and includes an air-conditioned hall elevated to the height of the stage with free-flowing cocktails and food

- Expecting 25,000 - 40,000 people per venue so it will probably the biggest rock tour ever in India.

METALLICA Gonna Perform At F1 Rocks, Delhi

METALLICA is gonna perform in India at F1 Rocks on the occasion of the inaugural Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix during October 28-30, 2011, at Greater Noida and Banglore.

Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo also mentioned about this concert during an interview to the Blabbermouth.net.

Hope that there wont go anything wrong like the Bryan Adams concert in Delhi last time.

Lady Gaga, Harry Reid Talk 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'

Lady Gaga has long supported a repeal of the U.S. military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, but this week she has been especially active in the cause. At VMAs she walked the white carpet with four members of the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN), a group that opposes the policy. And in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres that aired Monday, Gaga asked her fans to contact Senator Harry Reid, the politician leading the charge to end Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and ask that he set in motion a vote on the matter. And then, the Senator himself reached out to Gaga on Twitter.

"There is a vote on [Don't Ask, Don't Tell] next week. Anyone qualified to serve this country should be allowed to do so," Reid wrote in a tweet addressed to Lady Gaga. "God Bless and Thank you @HarryReid, from all of us, like u, who believe in equality and the dream of this country. We were #BORNTHISWAY," Gaga wrote in reply (while referencing the title of her next album.) Reid ended the unlikely corresponce this way: "It's the right thing to do. Come back to Vegas soon!"

Reid later said that next week's vote was planned prior to Gaga's call to her fans. "Senator Reid has reiterated his commitment to repealing the military's ban on gays serving in our armed forces. This afternoon, he informed Republicans that he intends to bring the Defense Authorization Bill — including the repeal of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy — to the Senate Floor next week," a statement on Reid's web site said. Meanwhile, the SLDN is imploring people to "answer Lady Gaga's call" and contact their senators to demand they "vote with Sen. Reid and Sen. Carl Levin in opposing the filibuster, defeat amendments to strike repeal, and defeat any crippling amendments" before next week's vote.

Steven Tyler As New American Idol Judge

Following months of speculation, Fox have confirmed the rumours that Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler will be a judge on next season's 'American Idol'.

Steven Tyler will join pop diva Jennifer Lopez and returning judge Randy Jackson on what will be the show's 10th outing. Speaking about his new role on the reality TV show, Tyler said at a press conference. "It's being a part of something much bigger than yourself. I want to bring some rock to this roller coaster and show you that if you got the heart, you got the talent and you got the feeling to do this, you could be the next American Idol."

It has been a rocky twelve months for Aerosmith and rumours emerged that 62-year-old Tyler would be joining the American Idol team way back in the summer, with members of his band Aerosmith unsure of the move. In an attempt to avoid further ructions within the band, Joe Perry, lead guitarist for the group, confronted Tyler about the American Idol rumour about a month ago only to discover that the frontman was under strict instructions not to discuss it with anyone.

Perry said, “I mean, after working with me for 40 years, he couldn’t tell me about this. Why so secretive? We’re told it’s a done deal. If Steven is committed to a TV show, that kind of affects the rest of us. We’d like to plan our lives, ya know?”

Certainly worrying times for Aersomith fans who have recently seen Tyler take another step away from the band to record a solo single 'Love Lives'. The track is set to feature in the upcoming Japanese film 'Space Battleship Yamato'.

The 10th season of American Idol will begin in January.

FORK IN THE ROAD : NAZATRON

Nazatron is the musical vehicle of Genaaron Diamente. Genaaron grew up in a small town in Victoria, Australia and started playing guitar as soon as he was big enough to hold one. A steady diet of Beatles records, 90s metal, school jazz bands and guitar lessons quickly evolved into an irreversible love of music.

Fork In The Road is the debut album of Nazatron. The album features songs written, arranged, performed and produced by Nazatron and took approximately three years to complete.

Being self produced, most of the tracks were recorded in Nazatron's home studio and many an hour was spent sculpting each second of music.The music can best be described as an eclectic mix of Electro and Alternative Rock drawing from many infuences. The textures move from intense guitar polyphony to synthetic soundscapes. From minimalist percussion to squarepusher inspired Electro beats.

ATIF ASLAM is working on the musical project THE DREAMER AWAKES with GUNS & ROSES and VELVET REVOLVER. ATIF ASLAM shared some information about it to his fans and according to that the project is a multi-song project by the name “The Dreamer Awakes” by Lanny Cordola. The line up includes couple of former GUNS & ROSES members with Matt Sorum on the drums and Gilby Clarke on the guitars while Slash will be on board too.

Prince Hates iTunes, Says 'Internet Is Completely Over'

The Internet officially ended its bold and exciting run of relevancy, according to pop culture touchstone and 'Batdance' singer Prince.

"The Internet's completely over," the 52-year-old recording artist told the UK's Daily Mirror. "The Internet's like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can't be good for you."

The bizarre interview is touted as Prince's first sit-down with a newspaper in 10 years. Writer Peter Willis was forbidden from bringing a recorder, camera or cell phone into Prince's Minneapolis recording studio/lair.

"Prince decided the album will be released in CD format only in the Mirror," Willis writes. The star's 33rd studio release, '20TEN,' will be packaged free with the newspaper and other British and European dailies this weekend. "There'll be no downloads anywhere in the world because of his ongoing battles against Internet abuses. Unlike most other rock stars, he has banned YouTube and iTunes from using any of his music and has even closed down his own official website."

What's Prince's take on the whole thing? "I don't see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won't pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can't get it." No word yet on American distribution for the unorthodox venture.

The writer, an unabashed Prince-o-phile, calls the album "instantly infectious," "a return to his early blistering form" and "amazing."

And why '20TEN'? "I just think it's a year that really matters," Prince says. "These are very trying times. People, especially young people, don't have enough God in their lives."

The mysterious Prince, whose name was once a symbol, was short about several questions. His childhood? "I don't talk about the past." Former rival Michael Jackson? "Next question."
