This company is working in the field of watches since July 15, 1911.
Settled in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Eugène Blum and Alice Lévy started the first ebel. The name of the watchmaking firm they established symbolized it's unique origins in the fusion of two outstanding personalities: EBEL – an acronym of the initials “Eugène Blum Et Lévy”. From the very beginning of it's foundation,Ebel proved its watchmaking prowess early, winning its first watch making prize only three years after the foundation of the company. So it is easy to understand the quality and the standard they are having in the field of watch making.

Ebel remained a family controlled company until they were sold – eventually ending up as part of the Movado Group. But still they are having the same standard and cutting edge technology for the watch making. And day after day, they are creating a standard for others.
