Boyzone have revealed details of a UK tour taking place in Spring 2011.
The Irish pop icons are currently celebrating their latest Number 1 album, Brother (the sixth album of their seventeen year career), by announcing 12 UK dates for February next year.
Boyzone last toured during the Spring/Summer of 2009 with their sell-out Better Tour.
The Brother Tour promises to be even bigger and better and will include tracks such as the Top Ten single, 'Gave It All Away' and fan’s favourite, 'Love Is A Hurricane'. They will sit alongside classics such as 'Picture Of You', 'Love Me For A Reason', 'No Matter What' as well as a few surprises along the way.
The new tour will mark the bands first live appearances as a four piece, after the untimely death of founding band member Stephen Gately, who passed away while on holiday last year.

International pop superstar and 3-time Brit Award winner Lady Gaga announced that her hugely successful Monster Ball Tour has yet again been extended due to phenomenal public demand.
Lady Gaga will now perform 17 shows in Europe, the demand has been amazing, extra dates have already been added and today it is announced that LADY GAGA will now play an extra show in Manchester on Tuesday 3rd June, as the first one has now sold out.
In a show that the Sun described as “awe-inspiring" and "the best live show you will see this year," The Monster Ball tour is a visual spectacular bringing the vision of pop music’s biggest star to vivid reality. Self-described as “more of a musical than a concert” the journey to the ball takes Lady Gaga and fans on a wild and warped ride from start to finish. From the Lady Gaga’ized Rolls Royce through 15 costume changes, as the Times say, this is truly “one helluva ride.”
North American audiences can look forward to her first major arena tour when Lady Gaga returns to North America this June for a 30-city tour. The North American itinerary and on-sale information will be announced soon.

Hard rock'n’roll legends Motorhead have unveiled the details for their annual UK tour this November.
2010 will be a very special year for the band led by iconic frontman Lemmy Kilmister, as it marks Motorhead’s 35th Anniversary as well as the release of their 21st studio album.
A busy year is ahead for Lemmy, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee as not only will they be hitting the road with new album under their studded leather belts, the band have also been confirmed for Download Festival. Having played at the festival on 4 separate occasions, Motorhead will be part of this year’s outstanding line-up which will help celebrate 30 years of unrivalled rock/metal at the famous Donington Park venue. That’s not all though folks, Lemmy will also be returning to the silver screen later this year with the release of the rock god’s biopic ‘Lemmy’ . This tour will see Motorhead turn things up even further to make sure that their 35th Anniversary tour is not one to miss.
Talking about the announcement of the band’s 35th Anniversary tour, Lemmy had this to say: “35 years and still going, who would have thought - almost like fucking matrimony and no divorce in sight."

Legendary thrash icons Metallica are making plans to develop a new tour which will rival the scale of Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’.
We can easily mock some of the enormous tours undertaken by grandiose rock groups. The huge stage sets and props used during the shows have been parodied in Spinal Tap’s famous Stonehenge joke, with the English rockers gazing at a midget monument.
However Metallica are apparently planning to create their most extravangant tour to date. Manager of Metallica, Peter Mensch, recently let slip about the forthcoming epic project which would rival Pink Floyd’s massive tour ‘The Wall’.
Pink Floyd’s tour was based on the concept album of the same name and took place in 1980 and 1981. The tour saw the band build and demolish a wall each night of the performance and played alongside some custom made animations. The tour is remembered as one of the most expensive tours ever undertaken.
Aiming to beat the prog stars at their own game, Metallica’s manager had this to say to Classic Rock about the tour. "Let's just say that next year you will see a Metallica tour that will blow your mind. They will only play in 10 cities but it will be a huge undertaking. It will be Metallica's equivalent of 'The Wall'."
When Mensch was asked to define his role as manager of Metallica, he replied: "Saying something like, 'I have this idea for us to play an equivalent of 'The Wall'. So here's some ideas so we can get the professionals in so they can tell me if I'm crazy or not.'"
This new tour will of course depend on the band surviving their current jaunt. Metallica have recently caused two riots in South America, with their ‘Death Magnetic’ show in Columbia causing 160 arrests.

Ali Zafar is now recording a studio version of ‘Dastaan e Ishq‘ ALI ZAFAR is recording the song with Baqir Abbas, the flute player who performed with Ali Zafar in Coke Studio, for his upcoming album titled ‘Jhoom‘. The album JHOOM is in the final stages and will be out soon. Ali Zafar is planning to release the album independently without the support of a record label.

Noori has signed up with Walls as their brand ambassadors for the year 2010 and this merger is celebrated by a brand new song JHOOM LAY accompanied by a video!
“Jhoom Lay” has been composed by NOORI in collaboration with noted music director Shuja Haider. The lyrics have been penned by Mr. Irfan Khan who is the Executive Creative Director for Lowe and Rauf. With this song, NOORI makes a comeback to the mainstream after few great performances in the second season of COKE STUDIO.
Jhoom Lay video, which is shot in Bangkok by Ahsan Rahim, is easily NOORI’s biggest to date. The plot of the video revolves around two brothers who are portraying the two flavours of Walls Cornetto. Ali Hamza gets the spotlight this time around. Contrary to his image, he is portrayed as the fun loving, ‘milk chocolate’ character whereas the Ali Noor, who is usually the face of the band, gets to portray a mature ‘dark chocolate’ character.

Blue Blood was formed when Cyrus Gorimar(drums) and Dean Lazarus(guitars) of Brahma fame decided “to challenge their sensibilities and push it one notch higher by handling more evolved sounds and structuring’. Mumbai based hard rock band ‘The Echoes’ formally launched its debut album ‘Stiched‘ at the Hard Rock Cafe on 11th of March 2010. “The Album has 10 tracks and it is a theme album. It’s like a musical story about the various struggles that everyone faces when they set out to follow their dreams and be something. The journey has it’s ups and downs, practically sowing the outcome that stitches the garment of that individual’s life. Singer Axl Rose stopped GUNS N' ROSES' concert last night (Saturday, March 13) at Estádio do Palmeiras in São Paulo, Brazil about two minutes into the show's opening number, "Chinese Democracy", after a member of the audience allegedly threw a bottle on stage. "Where's the little fuck over here?" Axl asked after he instructed his bandmates to stop playing. "C'mon, coward. You wanna fuck up the show for everybody? 'Cause I've got no problem — I will leave. We will all leave. You wanna play games? You can fuck yourself or we can have some fun. You guys wanna have fun? Then I don't need no little fucking pussies like we had the other night at that club. [Presumably referring to the incident Thursday night when an A-list crowd of Brazilian billionaires and supermodels rioted after waiting hours for GUNS N' ROSES to perform, and then learning Axl Rose and his band wouldn't play. — Ed.] You wanna fuck with me and my boys? We will leave."

After that, GUNS N' ROSES resumed playing and the rest of the concert reportedly went off without a hitch.
GUNS N' ROSES began its 11-date South American tour last Sunday (March 7) in Brazil, with dates scheduled through April 1 in countries like Ecuador, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Venezuela and Colombia.
GUNS N' ROSES has recently played secret gigs in New York and London. The band's last South American appearance was in 2001.

Some 22 pieces of elaborate furniture custom-made for Michael Jackson, including a leather armchair embellished with crystals and gold leaf, will be auctioned off in June, organizers said on Friday.
Julien's Auctions said the furniture was ordered by the "Thriller" singer for a home near London he planned to rent during a series of 50 comeback concerts in England last year.
The collection, commissioned by Michael Jackson from Italian luxury furniture maker Colombostile, includes a pair of red velvet armchairs embroidered with eagles, a leopard print armchair trimmed with ostrich feathers and a red velvet and gilt sofa.
The furniture carries estimated auction prices ranging from $16,500 to $150,000 per item.
Michael Jackson, 50, died in Los Angeles on June 25 from an overdose of a powerful anesthetic given to help him sleep during the rehearsal period for his "This Is It" concerts.
Michael Jackson' personal doctor Conrad Murray pleaded not guilty last month to involuntary manslaughter in the singer's death, and is on bail awaiting trial in Los Angeles.
The auction will take place in Las Vegas on June 25 and will be preceded by exhibitions in Ireland and Las Vegas that re-create how Michael Jackson's London residence might have looked with the custom-designed furniture in it, Julien's said.
The auction also will include dozens of other items from Michael Jackson's life and career, such as a signed jacket he wore for his hit "Beat It", another of his signature white crystal gloves, and paintings from his Neverland Ranch in California.

Indian Rock Revolution is India’s first studio based competition. Seamless records will launch this album which will feature 15 songs by 15 deserving bands across India. 50,000 copies of this album will be distributed to hardcore rock fans. This is an initiative by SeamEdu's School Of Sound Engineering.
Prizes:
* The winning band will feature on the cover of the album + Rs 10,000/- cash.
* The runner’s up band will get Rs 5000/- cash.
Details of the competition are as follows:
* Every band will send in their Demo track that they wish to get in this album. The Demo has to be at least 1 min long.
* The song has to be an original work of the band. You cannot cover any artist/band.
* If the song gets selected the band will have to travel to Pune to record their track at our studios or if the band cannot travel, they can send in the ProTools session file. (This will be done only in the rarest of rare cases) The final mixing will be done at our studios.
* Every band will send their demo along with a DD or a cheque of Rs 500/- as a participation amount favoring “Seamless Education Academy Pvt. Ltd. “
* The Entries have to be sent in before 25th of March 2010.
The 15 finalist will be informed by 30th of march and will be given a schedule for recording as per their convenience. The recordings will take place in the month of April and May. Each band will be given 45 hrs for Recording and Mixing.

According to ACDC-Bootlegs.com, there will be a small exhibition of photographs on June 2-3, 2010 from AC/DC concerts performed in Sweden. It is a co-operation between the fan club Acdcmachine.com and Ibis Hotel in Hägersten, Sweden, which will host the event featuring photos from 1977 to present. In addition to the exhibition, pre-concert arrangements will be made to celebrate the AC/DC concert at Stockholm Stadium on June 3. These pre-show events will also take place at the Ibis Hotel.
