"Today is a place" is a song that attempts to express the significance of imagination in life.

"I have lived all my life imagining things that weren't there, talking to people that only I could see and living in places my unafraid mind would wander off to. In that way, "Today is a place" is an important statement for me and all others that still remain child-like in their adventures within themselves.

My greatest fear is to grow out of this adult-childhood, wake up one morning and forget what it feels like to see the world everyday as though I was viewing it for the very first time. I know there are others like me out there, so I just wanted to give them something to sing when they were in one of their mad excursions." - Natasha Ejaz
